in between the binary is a web cursor effect made from unicode symbols that i first doodled, and then turned into a web drawing brush.
i’ve released it as a free open source tool to circulate, and be remixed free on the internet <3
it’s part of a project looking at identity within systems of classification across technological, cultural, and social contexts.
Process
the cursor effect is based on this doodle i did at a screenprinting workshop at kunsthall oslo summer 2025.i then built the javascript cursor with a trail effect.then i used them in projects - like these tights i made!
