Geekstar is a concept exploring technology and design through a cyberfeminist lens, expanding the definition of geek and nerd culture while questioning inclusivity and its impact on human connections.
While studying technology, I noticed how tech is often seen through a masculine lens, shaping how we design and see the digital world. Yet the internet I grew up on was built on creativity, self expression, hyper-personalization and community, traits often overlooked in mainstream tech today. To reclaim this narrative, and hopefully encourage a more inclusive environment for everyone, I printed 4000 stickers over 4 collections, and handed them out everywhere, and to everyone.
