For Season 7 of BBC Glow Up, I was invited to Snap’s London headquarters alongside creators Clara Bacou, Balraj Bains, Josephine Miller, Abbie Peach, and Mabu Yu to translate the MUA’s makeup looks to augmented reality for one of the challenges.
Teaming up with Mabu Yu, we translated Jamie Arnold’s piano look into an interactive AR filter: when the user opens their mouth, a piano plays while animated fireworks and musical notes dance across the face.
The episode featured judges Val Garland and Dominic Skinner, joined by Kate Mellett, Head of Creative Strategy at Snap UK, with production by Wall to Wall Media.
