Dazed Magazine x Munch Museum Oslo
The Scream (After Earth)
(june, 2023)

The Scream (After Earth) is an imagined collaboration between Dazed Magazine and the Edvard Munch Museum in Oslo, created over a three-day media specialization exam in high school. The artwork manipulates Munch’s The Scream using Adobe Firefly, turning it into a recycled piece when the image is marker tracked in augmented reality.

Incorporating biblical and environmental themes, it addresses the climate crisis and emphasizes Munch’s relevance today.

AR experience built using Meta Spark AR.



Process Development: The AR filter uses marker tracking technology to recognize the Dazed cover. 
Once detected, it overlays the digital artwork onto the cover.
